why dont u have a closer look at the ac belt and bearing? if u cant diy, just let ur mech do it for u. and, as u already done that, let em have a look at the alternator, power steering and timing belt too. having a visual check that wont cost anything much is way better than having a snapped belting.
Mine also got sound but when raining undercarriage got splashed by water only will have "cheeeeeeeeeeet" sound, but i will be gone after few seconds of releasing the throttle.......
mine also got sound when i start the engine.. but the sound gone when i switch on ac.. i asked my mech whether i need to change the belting.. but he says' 'ok lagi ma.. boley pakai lagi' then he sprays some sort of lubricant i dunno wat n the sound totally gone.. but only for 3 weeks.. now the sound comes again.. when i asked my fren.. he said maybe it has come to 50% of it's life.. is it tru?
the belt is not expensive item and easy to change...get it replace if its nuisance to you. or u can wax the belt by using a candle....its for old skool method la....it works.
