MR2 problem?

I'm planning to be a proud owner of a MR2. but before that i would like to know if the mantainance of the car very expensive?? are spare parts hard to come by?? how bout fuel comsumption?? and what other issues it have?? (since its a 15-17 yr old car)

Maintenance varies depending on the condition of the car you buy, really. If you buy one in bad condition, surely more to get it up and running. But there are many good ones around with little problems.

Spare parts are easy to get from Wing Hin and many halfcut shops.

Fuel consumption, about RM80 = 400km (this is for my SW turbo, don't know about the rest)

i tot the fuel consumption wud be sky high... it seems afforable... now my only prob is, its a 2 seater... how am i goin to fit mum and dad.. whahahah:hmmmm: :hmmmm:

my fuel comsumption full tank RM88-92 can bring me around 430-450 town driving....... with this car u ONLY suppose to fetch chicks......not mom or dad.....hahahaha

chicks... actually ya... i'm planning on tat... BUT mum and dad might come up to KL and spot check on their manja boy... MANA tahu drive 2 seater... sure die.. become mince pork.. hahaha... still MR2 is a very tempting option for me.. hhehehe

ericky: If a pre-requisite is to carry more than one passenger than you should give up considering any MR2 as an option. Please discuss further in the thread as advised by theFalcon if you going to make you folks take the public transport.
