wonder where was the seafood kedai at Pantai Remis, as mentioned by Fob earlier.

Went to pantai Remis today, and sembang2 with orang masjid after zohor praying tadi asked them where is the direction for kedai2 seafood. As told by them, Surprisingly Pantai Remis is a kampung, not really a 'seaside' by nature~ Last2 seafooding at kedai biasa Teluk Muroh Lumut with my wife.

...as yes Faisal. CF4 FC quite good especially driving slow. My today trip S. Alam->P.Remis-Lumut-S.A) (go via Kuala Selangor and balik via PLUS hiway ) would only cost me around RM90. Still got 1 bar. milleage covered around 600km.

BTW, STI8 laju siot. Tadi on theway back at 3 lane PLUS Hway, this STI8 at par on my left side at a speed of 211kmh lebih kurang. Want to overtake. finally he give-up since me celok2 or he thought vtec is too slow for him!! hehehehehe

weih TG ppl... i'm going to chukai on sunday from KB. i think i have two options lah
1. via coastal road (KB - KT - Dungun - Paka - Kijal - Chukai)
2. via continental road (KB - Setiu - Kuala Berang - Al Mukhtafi Billah Shah - Chukai)

what is the best option ah? i've never travelled on the conti roads before and i might try it unless there are some really negative aspects. via the continental roads, i am by passing the big cities (KT, Dungun, etc)

aja... CF4 long distance at reasonable speed sure don't drink too much fuel unless convoy with you hehe... RM90 will cover 300km only har har har 180km/h++ all the time :)

better u use coastal road la coz if u use Jerangau - Jabur road, u must turn down to bandar Chukai..but if u want straight to LPT..better use Jerangau - jabur..save 25km from KT..lalu ikut Kerteh bleh tgk api beso.. oso can call n TT Sloth at Kerteh..

The best route is of course option (1) above ler, along the seaside road. Option (2) will be quite boring as, u will only find sawits and hutans.

KB-->KT (around 140km). So, kalau bawak 200kmh, less than 1 hour boleh sampai! kekeke. If bawak 283kmh, then sure sampai alam lagi satu ler
Don't forget beli buah pelam at Besut there (forgot the small town name).

Once u reached KT, before the bridge tuh :
1. Don't forget to turn left to Sebarang Takir. Can minum fresh2 fruit juice (very fresh seriously) and can buy fresh ikna bilis at cheap22 price of RM10 per kg. Direction towards reclamation works site done by Inai Kiara. BTW, Keropok Losong I thnk no so tasty lor. Can stop for solat at Masjid Terapung there.

2. KT. Go jalan2 Pasar Payang lor. Few interesting places in KT actually.

3. Marang --> Drink air tebu and some keropok at seaside, facing Pulau Kapas tuh. Can buy ikan kering.

4. Merang -> Dungun : Speeed trap merata. Be more careful.

5. Dungun --> Stop and makan Pizza Hut or Nasi Ayam at the town, or eat Laksa at Sura Hujong small stalls...facing the sea tuh! If rajin, go Pasar Kuala Dungun buy2 fresh haiwan laut. Don't forget to stop and take photos at Kuala Abang (got a batu something. Nice also)

6. KIjal --> Air nira along the journey.

7. Kerteh --> Meet sedara2 CF4 . Got new shopping complex, I think

5. Kemaman --> Draw some money lah. So many banks now. Got 1-2 kedai potongs before the Bridge/Mosque. BTW, while u in Kemaman, don't go Warung Pak Aziz (yellow orang aya punya warung) a Kuala Kemaman. Not so tasty and the price is cut throat. wonder why so many people go there.

abe faizal, from KB you go to Besut through Tok Bali, then you straight to Kampung Raja then to Kuala Terengganu through coastal Road.. Nice view there, sea sea sea.. also can sea new Terengganu Stadium, then can see masjid 'RM70 juta' (they claim!), then straight way to Kemaman.. also follow abe bulet's vacation guide hehe..

at Merchang - Dungun, again DON'T SPEED more than 110kmj coz ramai 'pak sedara' kat situ.. at Kerteh can TT with abe sloth, at Chukai if u have time, call me ok..

Me last time aweks-ed with Terengganu girl, during my study at Dungun there. So, consider expert2 ler..... Last time every-week went to Pulau Kapas. Those Makcik Gemuk Chalet, Zaki Chalet are most familiar. At Seberang Takir, there was a makcik selling hot bun a the corner of the road-side..kampung style. Sedap gila!. Panas2 beb.

BTW, the most tastiest Ikan Bilis so far I ever taste was made from Beufort, Sabah. Manis gila beb!!. Barely ate it (without cook), surrppppppphh...... SODAP!!! I think Seberang Takir one cannot lawan lor !! hehehehe

BTW, my CF4 khawin car now looks hensem a bit. Thanks to the door visor installed yesterday.
