Not the best place to post a "looking for" thread, but I'm kinda sourcing for a set of Mini Cooper R81 Imola 7-hole wheels, was wondering if any Cooper owners have upgraded and want to dispose off the set of old wheels?

how badly do you need this? have you tried the wheelshops to see if they have any that was traded / left there by clients who upgraded their wheels.

How badly, well, they would be the best option I would want, I've tried a couple of the larger ones around Sunway, was surprised they actually said I was too late as they had thrown away quite a few sets(probably recycled), not much market for smaller wheels these days I suppose? If not mistaken these came with the Mini Cooper non-S only, which is pretty rare by itself in Malaysia?

bought these out of hup shun sunway for about RM400 a few years ago...no longer have them though..so expect to look around that price though ive seen some trying to sell them for more than double...

and even at RM400... why not look into taiwan wheels? these are PCD100 so easy to find n ah kit sells taiwan wheels pretty cheap.

anyway... a quick google and i found this http://www.mudah.my/Sport+Rim+15+Inci+second+ori+MINI+COPPER-16151409.htm

Yeah.. First shop I tried was Hup Shun since they were pretty famous. RM400 sounds about right. But I was surprised they said they threw most of these smaller wheels away!

The reason why I'm not looking into taiwanese wheels is due to the center bore of the Imola wheel which is exact fit, taiwanese wheels, will need centre cones.

I guess worst choice have to go with that Shah Alam dude, I saw it, just isn't sure if it's still available.

grexer, no these wheels are not rare at all. there are about as many, if not more cooper and cooper one than the S. in fact i saw one just 30mins ago with those wheels. you can also try Fastlane, a new MINI specialist in Taman Mayang and look for Patrick.

No luck with Fastlane nor Hup Soon, anyone else? Or maybe I should try heading over to Klang or Rawang tyre shops?
