Dogs... Best friend or pest? You decide...
This time's correction was on my own car. Damages done by men's best friend that have been bothering me for a long time. What better time to do it than on a vacant saturday...
Swirls and random deep scratches. Must have had a party on my bonnet.
From a distance
Correction began with compounding with M150 and wool pad. Almost useless as paint was super hard. A total of 12 passes were given. Swirls were removed. Deep scratches were lightened but still present under good lighting.
RIDS still present but lightened.

If one zoomed right in with a magnifying glass...
Swirls are gone however...
I resorted to using Osren P40 with Denim pads followed by velvet pads. Then M105 with wool, M105 with polishing pad, and M205 with polishing pad. A 5 step paint correction!
Random deep scratches still present and cannot be removed. Cutting must stop. Paint was coated with Opti Guard to protect, restore thickness and add hardness. Stare hard enough, one will still see fine lines in the picture below. Former deep scratches.
Fenders are other parts were corrected with M105 and wool, M105 and polishing pad and finished with M205 on polishing pad. Coated with Opti Guard as well.
Thank you.
