Manual Gb With A/t Gb Oil

Anyone heard of a manual gearbox fill in with a/t gearbox oil?

at gear oil is too thin to provide sufficient lubricant for mt gearbox

yup.. viscocity different. But i did hear from mechanics before recommending using engine oil as gearbox oil...

yep, i've heard something similar too.. thicker oil, better lubing... but sacrifices performance... usually used for gearboxes with a bit of a problem already..
