S13 engine Auto trnsmision to manual transmision

Guys, I need help about my S13 engine....
I will do the convertion from auto transmition to manual transmision.....I need to replace my ECU or not?

How do I check Idle Air Control?

I found problem about Idle speed not smoothly. I 'd check IAC valve but don't know how to check. If any know, please reply.
