Guys,

Understand that install light weight crank pulley will help to change torque curve
compare with stock.
Btw, have any side effect after install ? Is it suit for all type of engine?
Any Mivec and CPS owner with this experiance?

Appreciate can share more as I plan to get one for my cars.

Thanks. :driver:

oredy discussed X 999999999999 times.....

LCP will give faster respond n has NO defects. Slightly lightened Flywheel will improve acceleration. Extreme lightened flywheel will increase acceleration for 400m, but no top speed and risk of crack/broken flywheel coz too thin canot witstand the vibration/pressure

I knew that already have been discussed many times,
but all the posts are spread around, do not have a thread to track.
Anyway, after install LCP, will affected up hill drive performance?
Is LCP have the same concept with lighten flywheel ?

yes n no. LCP and lightened flywheel both are lightened, hence their movement are fast to spin and fast to stop. making your engine to rev more freely without resistant.

for hill climb issues, slightly skimmed/lightened flywheel will not have problem. lightened too much will facing no low end torque and no top speed but very fast for 400m drag race.

LCP wont affect your hillclimb.

Bro, Thanks for the sharing.
Btw, any good brand to advise..?

Anyone hear about mythelogy ?

lighter by 60-70%, if every pulleys in the engine is being changed, the difference is alot!

mythlogy is over priced

Have any good brand?

interested to know any nice brand for mivec as well...

i also feel like mythelogy overpriced, but it's the only comes with rubber damper, others just pure steel, and people keep saying using without damper will eventually hurt crank shaft... is that true?

all my LCP is without damper, i realized that after 4 months, the nut went loose and wasnt turning the belt hence my alternator wasnt charging. i add a spring washer and fastened it.

never again it happened. i been using my lcp for a year now, nothing wrong with it.

Those aftermarket LCP are they go thru high speed balancing?
After install into our engine, will affected engine balancing?
Btw, why stock engine have to come with such heavy weight crank pulley?

Pls advise.. Thanks.

not necessary they had to be gone thru high speed balancing... its not cheap to so anyway...
dont worry much... i believe ur oem crankpulley also havent been on high speed balancing anyway...
oem comes with heavy crankpulley so ur angular rotating mass carries momentum so ur car is easier to drive...

they are heavy coz durable by using the cheapest material, stainless steel. if they used alloy their cost of production will shoot up.

Hi guys,

Just would like to bring up this post as would like to further comparison between R3 LCP vs Mythelogy LCP before I place the order by this end of month.

1) Price : Both are quoted with similar price, not much different (RM500++)
2) Material : Both are alloy
3) Damper : Myth is included, R3 is no damper as they claimed from diamond cut, will provide good pricision.
4) Weight : no data yet.

Any R3 LCP user here ? can share?
