one of the reason why Toyota's Engineer put THERMOSTART is, to let the engine warmed fast to 82c. If didn't using thermostart, it will take a time to let the engine warmed at the morning..

that day my uncle's friend was selling the door trim + power windows for rm500-600....i'll try and ask him whether it's still available..

Thermostart buang sj la if u engine get high temperature.no use wat even mechanic pun x mau pakai lagi. but i hv 1 question is, my LE is SVT,bila run highway or no trafficjam(90-100km) temperature is low mcm x fungsi hanya naik sikit sj.when trafic jam or slowly, the temperature is normal open like 82c. in tis case mcm i punya KANCIL dah buang thermostart. Hv any SVT frenz same case like me??

bro, i got tips here to share.
if ur temperature goes UP to red line,
check ur THERMOSTAT, if it still working or not...
normally on long journey u'll feel this problems

last fews day my car got problem..
not so long journey but reach 70-100km
when reach home, the temperature goes UP to red line

last time on my journey back to taiping for hari raya....the temp. indicator showed rapid increase when the speed hit 120kmh...almost reached the red line..
then i slowed down to 100kmh...then it returned to normal....very nervous at that time...takut engine shutdown....

but it was radiator....leaking....heheh:D

From my experience with temp go to red line :
1-the waterpump not working well.
2-coolant. normal water dont work so well.
3-radiator water level.if you put over the limit, it easily reach the red line.
4-spotlight.maybe the wiring problem.

this regarding my exp from June till today. One more thing, make sure your brake super OK when having a journey, or you might got accident, like me this afternoon when the brake wire broke down.

can put the thing off, but need to warmed the car 1st la, let the engine warm. it's take abit time than usual la to warmed the engine.. coz the water flow more faster and not waiting the thermostart to function

the rear SET ae92 with TEMS absorber (wires one)...
sure la higher than separate part..

i'm juz posting the thread only ma, helping my friend, Toyota/LE's owner and also the buyer. the owner wanna sell the spare's things.. coz he going to move to another house..
