yeap. encounter the same thing on my kancil, removed the drop in k&n and put back the stock filter, really much responsive on hot days.
 
sure o not...i tot the concept is by suckin more air=more power
???

i think for ur engine ej-de more air at higher rpm its will lost power! better at torque(2k-4.5k) only for more air!!
 
so prefer use performance drop in filter now! last time using open pod air filter n CAI not easy to get top speed!! :( but for pick up or torque memang syiok!! :lol:

heeheh yalo.. where got more air = more power 1.. more air + more fuel = more power la.. more air den de sensor will tell de ecu den de ecu will set more fuel ..
