Jerky Mini

My mun owns a mini cooper (A), the car goes very "jerky" while travelling at low speed, especially when accelerating after going over a bump.... the salesgirl from auto bavaria said it's because of the gearbox, she said every mini is like that 1...

anyone faces similar problem? it's kinda annoying while travelling at low speed, whenever there's a traffic jam....

wat is remapping? sorry, i'm still noob, dont know much bout those stuffs... wat is CVT? continental cars?
