Guys,
i need some help in spliting up videos to fit into a 700mb cdr.

i manage to split the video into a smaller file but the quality sucks.

using ultra spliter.

the ori file bit rate is at 192 where as after splitting it, the bit rate for the splited file is 54 only.

cant seem to change the bit rate though.

any suggestions on what program to use?

erm.. convert to divx I suppose? you'll get smaller size but retaining the quality

I use DrDivx and VirtualDub for such conversion

If I'm not mistaken, there's few types of vcd encoding...

1.VCD1.1
2.VCD2.0
3.SVCD

The first 2 got very limited video bitrate which is approximately 1150kbps and the latter is 2600kbps.

So which one did you choose bro? SVCD will produce the best quality for VCD. Although it's still suck if compared to DivX.. hehehe
