Honda Civic 1.6 SOHC V-tech VS non-V-tech Spec.

Hi Bro,

May i know more detail about ( EK ) Civic 1.6 (A)SOHC V-tech VS non-V-tech Spec.
i seach a 2nd hand civic.Sellman tell me can not feel a diffience on this 2 type of eng.
How about petrol consumption and house power about this 2 type.

definitely the sohc vtec is better than sohc non-vtec. fuel consumption almost same.

u definetely can feel little extra pull when vtec kick in, redline 6500

ps: it's vtec not v-tech :X-:

another one, if its local ej, the abs for 1.6 vtec is a proper antilock braking system with sensors, ecu and abs pump,

for the 1.6 non-v, abs as in (advanced braking system).....hahahah

SOHC Non vtec 106hp only and its come with manual and auto.
SOHC vtec arround 120hp and its only come in auto for malaysian market
If u dont like auto so u didnt get vtec word at all he..he..

to me better buy the non v-tec 1.6 manual, then convert to b16b or b18cr.

at least u got a decent chasis to start from and can enhance further from there

I not plan for monifier for this EK.

i driving EG yr 95. i have a frn driving EJ yr97. we compare the FC wit this 2 car, the result is almost the same....highway + traffic jam....RM 75 (39 liter petrol) can go about 380~400km. (both car is non Vtec)
