guys,
i have a problem wit my radiator. I recently changed my stock radiator to the aluminium type as my old one had started to rust. everything was fine when one fine day i noticed my temp started rising like crazy. when i checked i saw grease/oil like material in my radiator. i sent it to honda service centre for cleaning and unfortunately the damage was done to my gaskets and all...but after the cleaning and servicing the water was celar and there was no more oily/grease like material in my radiator anymore. i was happy...until last week when again i noticed that the temp also arose slightly and when i checked the radiator, the same damn oil/grease like substance has returned. i dunno where the source could be coming feombecause the previous round i did a top overhaul.

i really neeed help on this.appreciate your comments experts!!!!

urm, bro, i doubt its ur radiator, it's probably ur gasket or head

Bro sorry to say it man, but once u notice that greasy or oily stuff in ur Radiator its you head gasket, maybe u can try to flush and see if it repeats or not... I also had the same thing somehwere in March but now again started damn i guess its time for me to change the BLOCK :banghead:

guys,

thanks for the reply but i have a doubt.....if it s the head gasket, wouldnt just changaing the gasket do the trick? do i need to change the block too?damn....

you might have to skim the head, look at the bright side, u probably get a higer compression engine....hhehe
