im driving wira 1.5 manual..recently i replace rear lower bush by myself and what i know, rear trailing arm bushing need to open by using compress machine. please someone correct me if im wrong, and i hope someone can tell me where foundry shop can do this, since im newbie at kl town area and still learning about car..

there is a way to DIY, ive seen it on wheeler dealers before but it was years ago, try watching youtube for guidance.

Wheeler dealer the tall bloke Ed is a mechanic by profession and has a full set of tools.

Amir - that bush needs some sort of machine to pump it out, it might be economical to just replace the whole trailing arm since it's not really that expensive to begin with. It's not easy to pump out and equally hard to pump back in.

If u insist to replace the bush,ask around at workshop.
some workshop do have a hydraulic press.
if they dont have it then ask them where to find an egineering shop.

I would just change the whole assembly.not that expensive.

Yup, need hydraulic press to press out and press in, and have to be accurate also....

Are those normal bench clamp enough to clamp? With plenty of silicone grease?
Or even those normal g clamps or something.

Workshop mechanic will know where they could regularly send bushes to pump out....

Just leave the car to the workshop and they will do the rest. Pumping-in the bushes ain't easy as it seem, even with grease. Wrongly pump or in pumping it at the wrong angle can damage the rubber, making it useless...

Removing bushes is slight easier, esp using the blow-torch way.

Removal might be possible but installation of the new one will be impossible or you might destroy the new bush.

Don't think so. You need a leverage and empty space at the bottom to push the old one out.
I saw my mechanic using his hydraulic pump to push it out, those in a frame and from overhead ones...
