Good Aircond Shop .

Hello! Good morning everybody! I am teearts(Nissan Sentra B14 owner). I just went to repair my car aircon at HINLY,PJ on 16-5-2007-1.30pm. (as recommanded here by Vestax - Cheapest price and best workmanship in town!). They have many cars there to fix when I arrived. So that I just leave my car to them and walk for a Spiderman III movie at Amcorp Mall. They called me up later on at around 6pm to take the car. Hinly owner, Sunny Lam told me they had fixed the aircon by changed the new cooling coil for me and refill the gas, my car aircon is pretty cold after the new cooling coil replacement. The cost is :

RM280 (cooling coil+workmanship+brower service+aircon oil filling )
RM30 for 134a gas refill.
- Total RM310.

This Saturday I will visit HINLY again for my old compresor repairing. I trust this guy very much and wish he will always do the best to all of us! :-D

i'll be trying out this shop for the first time this week, i hope they can do something about my mazda bpt aircond... been sending to few shops already but my aircond still can't stay cold for more than a month... suspect compressor leaking or maybe kong edi. will update you all once the job is done!

just got my car back from Hinly last saturday.. i'm very happy with the job they did, my aircond problems were solved with an exception price compared to other shops i've been to:

1. recon compressor + steel aircond pipes + bracket modification + ball joints = RM580
2. condenser + drier + gas + valve + hoses = RM350
3. my aircond switch repair = FOC

all in all i only paid RM900 to redo my entire aircond with all new pipes and insulators... the only thing i didn't change is my blower and cooling coil! thumbs up for hinly for a good job done and fantastic price!

the worker even called my just now to check if my aircond is alrite! aftemarket service also so good!

Just repaired my aircond system at HINLY's :rolleyes:
I called Sunny earlier today to check whether he is able to fix my a/c by today at first he say he is quite busy but agreed later on after knowing i would only be free next week:redface:
Mine was not cold since few weeks ago, an a/c gas check revealed that there is a leak. So they took out the cooling coil and other parts to check for leak. While waiting i went lepaking ard that area until i venture off till Amcorp mall

Ok, my problem was faulty compressor, and items that are included in the service:

-a/c gas and oil refill
-service the a/c compressor
-replaced several hardened o rings here and there, as well as tightend few bolts
-reroute one of the 4 wiring so that fan turns on when compressor kicks in, cause japan h/c settings aren't like tat

The cost is 220 all together, pretty reasonable to me nice service and nice peopleand now its ice cold again! yeah babe!

hey guys,

just quick review.
I came back from Sunny's shop (HINLY ACCESSORIES & ELECTRIC), replaced my condenser since it was leaking badly. There were a lot of other vehicles on site & Sunny confirmed that night time only can finish with my car (Potong Wira) when I went there around 1.30pm earlier today.

Overall workmanship was nice & clean, but I'm yet to comment on reliability since it's just a few hours from pickup.

They did all necessary servicing;
Refill 134a gas, Top up compressor oil, Vacuum, Expansion valve, Drier, Cooling Coil & even look into the compressor to check. All this for RM270 minus the standard condenser price.

So far it's all worthwhile :)

Well just wanna ask a random question here. Wonder how much its gonna cost me if i were to change compressor, cooling coil and the condenser at the same time?
My ride is a corolla AE101.

i would like to thanks bro vestax for intro us the aircon shop..my car just back from there..im driving kelisa and when i drive there i told them my after refill gas 1 or 2 month no cold..they terus take out the coil and test..when take out oh my god..the dust damn thick..cos i never service til now..so they wash and test luckily no leaking..then wash the coil, refill compressor oil and refill gas rm85 total..wow..wat a relieve..and a good price too...

wow ....thank god i found this thread. i am having difficulties with my aircon...i believe i either have a leak or my compressor is screwed. will drop by this place this week. thanks for the reviews and comments by every1.

Anyone has any past experience with any shops in Damansara Jaya? Seems like there are quite a number of car aircond specialist shops in this area but not sure if any of them would do a decent job?

You may try at Naidu at behind of KWSP,PJ (at Shell Petrol Station).
Expert in BMW and all type of aircond... price wise ok for me.
As i did repair my waja aircond last year...
Not promoting but he did a good job on my ride.

My car air con produced hot air when its hot outside. Top-up the gas a few times at other shops but only lasted for a few weeks. Other shop detected no leak but did some servicing. He said need to change the compressor as its quite old. He quoted RM500. I got busy and didn't manage to send my car to the shop as it was back in my hometown.

Visited HINLY a few weeks back after reading this forum. Sunny was not there and his guys needed a few hours to check what the problem was. I left my car on Saturday at 10+ am. Called at 1pm but they hadn't checked it. I called again on Monday and Sunny said they fixed the problem and my car was ready. He said they found a leak in the compressor, which is why the air became hot after a few weeks of gas top-up. He fixed the compressor and serviced the cooling coil. He promised that it wouldn't be expensive. When I went to pick up the car, the charge was very reasonable. RM280 for everything and Sunny told me there's warranty as well. Sunny said I could have called on Sunday as his shop is open on Sunday as well.

I definitely recommend HINLY to everyone. Very trustworthy and price is very reasonable.
