gear box humming

hi,
i just o/hauled my audi gearbox and its been humming at certain speeds.
any ideas to the cause. and solutions to simiiar problem faced.

Probably your ATF is not sufficient...

Or....

You may have used a lower grade of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)

should take it back to the garage, and tell the mech that your g/b is humming now....

what models? perhaps it was the rear differential?? (if FR layout)

gear bearing kong edi bro....tell yr mech to check it again.....

thanks guys, will change the atf to full synthetic first and check if the bearing were replaced .would a thicker gasket be of any help assuming t hat the sump might have been skimmed
