i'm riding on SGTI now ,
looking for a FUEL REGULATOr...
dont know which 1 to choose SARD regulator or FSE dual diagphram . both also around the same price...
which 1 is more RELIABLE..
coz i heard some complaints about SARD .
 
there's a shop selling FSE.
but i think that piece has been sitting there for around 2 years...NEW
do u think it will still be reliable ? or any problems with it ?
i took apart a SARD regulator b4 and there's no rubber material stuff in it . so i'm wondering if the FSE one does... coz if it has rubber then it wouldn't be good anymore after sitting there for like 2 years rite ?
 
woi powergigi.....u ar....work also muz think of whether wanna take sard or FSE....I tell u use wat is da best....u go to the market categories find EFN, custom made adjustable fuel regulator...tat one guarantee cheap!
 
If you want reliability, go for SARD. FSE is the best but I have seen three FSE Malpassi and FSE UK failing - like unstable pressure under extreme heat, so you end up readjusting the settings from now and then. I have personally owned 2 FSE units so I know. And I had a chance to test 2 units of SARD and SARD's clone from Taiwan too. I found that SARD have better reliability under extreme condition.

When u say u want to use FSE, you will have to remember why you would want to use a Double Diapghram Raising Rate regulator. Raising Rate are mostly beneficial to boosted engine which have positive vacuum. It will operate as normal A-FPR for NA cars.

my gti has high cams in it and other mods. so i dont know if that is considered highly mod or not

but doesn't SARD have 2 versions ? the smaller one and the BIGGER one ? which one were you referring to ? would the small one be just fine ?
when u say TAIWAN made, what do u really mean ? u mean like AROSPEED? coz both are constructed the same way...
what are the market price for this products now"original" ...

If you are running Top Fuel Dragster that aims for 4.5secs quartermile, then the Double Diaphgram Big SARD is suitable - it was meant to regulate anything above 400LPH of fuel supply using 10 to 12mm Fuel Lines.

For "normal" performance cars, the "small" SARD is enuff. yes AROSPEED is one of the neat imitation regulators from Taiwan.
 
the AROSPEED, heard a few complaints about leaking...... thus decreases the reliability, but of cause its like 1++ cheaper than SARD.
do u have experience with that ?
 
Even with 292 cams the stock fpr will more than suffice and is the most reliable..
