Avanza manual comes with 4.875 final drive, but if modify to 4.1 final drive the TRUE vehicle speed will increase by 18.9% so when the meter shows 100 it's actually 118.9 km/h
It is more fuel economical and when drive at 6,500 rpm using 1.85 tyre circumference get: -

But up hill will be a little bit more difficult, especially when full load. This mod is only for people who are sure they will not go to genting often / seldom. If go genting once a year never mind lah, OK one. If go every week then cannot lah. Sure feel the lack of power to climb hill.

So, who is willing to modify for FREE ..................... some conditions apply when volunteer is serious and meet face to face. I'll prepare agreement letter to satisfy both parties :)
