You probably already know that a modern steering wheel for a Formula One car costs as much as your average mid-sized sedan but did you also know that a modern Formula One car only needs to reach a speed of 130km/h to achieve a downforce to weight ratio of 1:1, speed it up a little to 190km/h and that ratio is doubled, theoretically making it possible for the car to be driven upside down at that speed.

No doubt that the numbers, from cash to units, involved in Formula One is beyond mind-blowing but to take it all in would probably leave your mind blown. So the guys over at Netcars have mapped it all out in your favourite form of looking at slides during meetings, an infographic.
There are quite a few interesting facts listed out in the infographic, including one that involves elephants jumping 10 meters in the air, but we won’t spoil it for you so sit back and take it all in.
