if not mistaken u cant use evo 5 0r 6 power fc on evo7

the acd light will come up

maybe theres way to alter it,im not sure but as far as i know the acd will not work

Unless you tell them its from a different model and if he is highly knowledgeable he will do it for you, goin thru both pin maps and all that how much will he charge you?

ACD has nothing to do with it, ACD&AYC have their own ecu. Coz of the pin confusion mayb it will lit up.

Ok to the question, yes can be used but you need to swap 2 pin connection from CP9A to CT9A. You can buy additional harness(selling in market) if you using CT9A(evo7) for Evo8 and do it.
Original harness mayb same but pin connection is diff. I can really remember which pin. You can search the old thread i got write there.
