Nissan develops a prototype car that can clean itself!

Nissan is trying to develop car paint with application of Ultra-Ever Dry. If they succeed, we dont have to wash car that often already!

As far as I know the ultra ever dry doesn't not last very long. I read some reviews somewhere that it will wear off in few days to few weeks, depending on environment and exposure. If they can come up with it lasting for at least a year, that would be great
