Hiiiiiiiiiii sue!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Black Mamba hereeee....
LOL. started la...

anyways... not sure how to advise... but when you're driving... just make sure the car feels "right"...

- no jerks
- no strange sounds
- no creaks
- no leaks in the interior
- no weird knocks on the body
- bumper should be aligned (easiest way to tell if its been in an accident)

apart from that... just visually check the engine bay for any leaks. however, it'll be quite hard to check the extractor side because its facing inwards...

the best bet is to bring along someone that knows a thing or two about cars (i'm sure the guys on the forum are MORE THAN willing to volunteer )... that way you can at least get a well informed 2nd opinion.

all the recon/unreg Type-S's i've seen are going for RM120 - 130k... which is rather expensive in my opinion if you compare it to a Type-R... but go for whatever suits your taste...

:driver:

let us know how it turns out.

no one WANTS an A/T Type-R.... :stupid:

some people just want the DC5 because:

1. Its a sporty coupe
2. Its a Honda (maintenance & hassle free)
3. Its so purrrrrrty....

Sorry to disturb your thread. My name is Sue. Am planning on getting a Honda DC5 Type-S (Auto Transmission). I would like to ask a few questions before deciding on purchasing one.

1. Are the spare parts a hassle to get, if something happens to the car?
2. How much is the road tax?
3. How bout maintainace (servicing, etc)? *THIS IS THE MOST CRUCIAL ASPECT*

P.S: I'm just looking for a simple one as I'm not the kinda hardcore driver. Just a DC5 for cruising. I plan to test drive the car this weekend. If anyone has any info on where I can get my hands on test driving the car or answers to my questions, your reply will be much appreciated. I already have a few places to test drive, but more info will be a great deal of help. THIS IS GONA BE MY CAR FOR DAILY DRIVE.

THANKS ALOT. =)

better get type r..performance will satisfy u...type s not many....up to u....honda parts wll be not problem..just spare money...u can get the sape parts.............
