yeah thanks for the warm welcome. Hows your car going? By the way, remember you told me about getting the J's Racing fender bar? Where is the best source of getting it cheap?

Damm i cant join the track day, but the next one i sure join wan.

oh btw, yesterday i actually played with an Audi 4 door sedan on the LDP highway. I thought i was able to smoke it but the car power is almost same as mine. We both couldnt get away far from each other. how possibly could that be?

j's racing fender bar....... have you spoken to Chris from Pentagon Enterprise? he's quite a close buddy of mine, i get quite a few stuff from him, if you don't know him well, just tell him you're timmy's dc5 buddy. generally, in terms of J's racing products, Pentagon is apparently the exclusive importer in malaysia (not including the grey importers)........... they take in bulk, so their prices tend to be better.

if i'm not mistaken, Audi A4's are 2 litre turbos :) I think they should be pushing 200 horses plus, if not mistaken.

but there's a shop in Puchong called RS Impressive, they do wonder's with Volvo, Audi's and other continental cars!

i think lot's of factors could be possible.
the audi could have been souped up under the hood.
your tyres could be a bit worn, or the road a bit too wet for your tyres to grip.

but most likely, you had mercy on the Audi and gave him face

Btw, yesterday my car couldnt rev above 4k! this happened in the evening while it was raining heavily. however, today morning can wack back ready! any idea what caused it happen?previous experience?

your car is in safe mode. safe mode will only allow you to limp back slowly to the nearest garage.

one of the many many many (and i do mean many!) possible reasons are:

1) inssuficient engine oil (common)
2) sensor failure (common, especially knock sensor, exhaust sensor, oxygen sensor)
3) uncommon sensor failure (CMP sensor, CKP sensor, TPS sensor) - denoting possible valvetrain errors.
4) loose wiring in the car's electrical system
5) one or more of the components in the car failing, thus alerting the ecu via the sensor, and activating safe mode.


to diagnose accurately, try going to any Honda Malaysia service workshop, hook up with the Honda Diagnostic Machine and check the error

or use any OBD II reader to try to decipher the problem.
