hi,

Just a quick question here. Recently i saw a lot of BMW, Audi, and Benz lowering their ride. Will this kind of cars lose their driving comfortability like japanese sedan or sport cars?

its a simple princple of physic. the lower ur car, the lower centre of gravity thus reducing the amount of roll during cornering.

that's the advantage if the car is lowered properly, like using custom made springs instead of potong spring only. in potong spring cases, the car height is reduced but cant be increased (unless u buy a new coil) and the spring will rebounce irregularly and make it difficult to manouvre for example a fast corner but with uneven surface.

at times, we look at cars like they had been lowered tremendously. well, dont be deceived by our eyes perception. if u got a standard wira or waja, installed full skirting and ppl will say that u already dropped an inch or two of the ride height. easy isnt it?

test drive one yourself, internet comments can only be used as vague guidelines only.

i think most ppl lowered their cars with big rim...is just to enhance the look...and to prevent ppl from peeping under their gf kirt when they get out of the car...heheeh

wonder why same car same inch of rim...but 1 car get looks lowered...another one will looks like not lowered somemore like 15-16 inch like that only...so weird...
