Civic (96-00) EJ/EK - Change gauge cluster bulbs

Hi there,

Just wondering if there are anyone of you here change the gauge cluster's
bulbs before... How many bulbs are required in order to get a new color on the gauge cluster ?! Thanks in advance......

Eh....what color do you want actually? I always thought the original amber is nice. The USDM is clear bulbs while JDM is amber bulb, if you plan to swap it darker color just remove all the bulbs and have them painted with Tamiya transparent color paint: Blue, red or green.

Wah, like that ka? What i'm asking is the total of the bulbs we need to change as there are a few specific bulbs that light up the gauge cluster/ meter... Thought to replace it with white bulbs... :_:

The stock cluster is amber bulb, so you have to replace with clear bulb, not white bulbs. There are 2 or 3 bulbs at the face so looks like you have to atleast prepare 20 clear bulbs....

Wow.... 20 bulbs. This is crazy man. In fact, i had installed EL meter into the stock gauge but the the no. in the meter is still light up in orange color. Think i know what to do now.... Thanks alot, HiKaru !! 10q 10q
