I understand that the innovation in this tyre is that the threaded layer is composed of two layers of different hardness/densities so that it maintains it's smoothness and quietness even as the tyre wears down. Since this is my first set, I can't vouch for Bridgestone's claim but I have been quite impressed by their performance so far. Mine cost RM 390 per tyre...size 215/55/16 I think.Now...mountings. Like all engines, there should be 4 mountings...left, right, front and gearbox. I would check the gearbox mounting first as the 3l's takeoff does put a lot of strain on it. Also do the following :a) Put the car in idle and touch the steering. Is there vibration? How much?b) From stationary, normal take-off. Do you get a kick in the pants?c) From 30 kmh, power up normally. Do you get a kick in the pants?For your gearbox, if it is still smooth on the upshift and especially, the downshift, there is nothing wrong. And gearboxes do not have to be reset...at least ours does not. The newer vehicles like the current generation Mercedes come with advanced ECU controlled gearboxes that have their own sub-ECU and may need to be reset. Michelin Primacy LC

Hi guys, i am changing my rim soon to BBS RK and my current tyres on my audi is 195/65/r15 and since its still new, i am planning to give it to my dad's persona which is 195/60/r15.. no problem with that right?

i just wan to know the reason why turbo will whistle like BOV...lol..so scare the turbo 'kong' ler..:confused_smile:
