the only significant difference is the roadtax....rm890+ vs rm2112. the choice is urs. but if u r changin to 2.5 bcoz of FC...DON'T DO IT!!! but if the main factor is roadtax then go ahead.

main issue to change 3.0 to 2.5 is to reduce road tax .. so the remainder of the money can be used for FC ... hahaha .. true or not guys ...

Visited a few of the adresses provided to me as well as Authroised Nissan Dealers. Price are genuinely high but was impressed whilst visiting Brothers @ Kelanan Jaya.

Managed to get a pair for fog lights for RM 288, whilst others quoted as from RM 1,100 and up to RM 2,300 for same. They do not look identical to the orginals and I think they are vene more gorgeous.

A new grill cost me RM 250, without any badges and this is in line with the state of my car.

The door visors are only around RM 300 and will mask a major defect on the door chrome trim.

This is Ali Baba place. Got some sparks plug and others, total damage was RM 1,500 which is really peanuts. Have been looking for 19" & 20" but that would be for next trip. Prices range from RM 7000+ to RM 15000.

Alas, I am flying back tonite. The good news is that the family wants to be back for our next holiday which should be in 6 months time.

The bad news just came out that I need to change my brake disks. Anyone can recommend some good places?

Meanwhile, I'm looking at a 8 + 6 hours flight back home with 20 hrs transit in Dubai.

hi guys .. seems everyone is busy ... i've just upgraded my exhaust system .. finally .. ehehehe ... at JFA .. well i didn't get any 2nd hand mufflers from AutoEquipe .. but opt for a new muffler & center mid ...

was recommended by Jaffar himself to use S type FGK muffer & center mid ... total cost around RM600 inclusive of installation & customization to piping ...

he did an OK job i could say & the sound is just beautiful .. not noisy at all during idling .... & quite ok during normal driving condition .. but when i accelerate it can be heard .. but my open pod filter is louder then the muffler .. hahaha

so when r we all going for TT ... better organize it ealier so that all us members can make it ..

oh yeah 2078 ... great job on yr car .. sure must be very interesting & excited going around looking for items to be fitted onto yr ride ... have a save flight back .... hope to see u post yr ride when its fully completed ... cheers...!!!!

what size of pipping did u go for?
my mechanic recommends me to change my existing pipping (from my 3.0) to a smaller 1...now its 2.5"...have to drop to 2.2" and use 2 bullets instead of the big one...

he said with my existing piping, its good for top speed (which is true) but it lack the torque to move the car, hence, resulting in higher FC. also when i transplant the 2.5 engine, the other mech used wrong spark plug. for v6, we have to use plug no.6..

so i am goin with nlexis tmr to get some Denso iridium spark plugs. anyone else want it? its rm45 each...initially wanted the Split Fire but the prices increases to rm52.50 each. so not really worth it...

Well, anyway, DBA don't have rotor for my A33...sad.
Asking my friend to do some shopping for me in the chop shop...see if anyone there knows what can fit my A33..maybe i'll get lucky and get a 4 pot caliper + rotor..hhhh :D

yeah dream ... DBA doesn't even have for A32. I've also check on National Disc Brake... they don't carry for A32 & A33 ... same goes for ATX ... the only 1 which has is Grippen ... which is similar to Skyline R32 or R33 or R34 .. but is expensive...

so unless .. u can find a 2nd hand R32 1 .. then its good ...

some say the r32's 4pot brakes only suitable for A32. but someone say its possible to fit A33 as well...
