Dear all,

I know that there is something out there that does this but I really need to know whether do they actually have this kind of stuff in Malaysia since our CF market is growing slowly but surely...

Ruz... if your bringing in those stuff ... make sure you bring in this too man... market growing but no cleaners.. I've seen a spoon spoiler spoilt because of this... ugly like shit ....

Aren't Carbon Fiber suppose to be strong light weighted material and stuf like that?? can get spoilt cuz of not polished?

it won't spoil but will look blardy ugly... just like paint it will fade but this one will have like a layer of plastic which will built above that nice carbon look...

You sure what you got is real carbon fiber?

Because real carbon fiber can withstand more than 800C so no any hot sun will burn that thing up

I am using a carbon hood with gt wing and they are like about 2 years old, I just wipe them clean with clean water and today they still look damm new to me

Hmmm ... don't they have that kinda white stuff on them??? like a musk covering the carbon look?? because I;ve seen one friend who has the Spoon spoiler with that and even a car in Amoil with the carbon hoods got that effect...

Wait.. do you leave your car in the sun much?? because they seem to do that and that's what happens... so that's why we need that carbon polish bro... when you wax your car do you wax your carbon hood?

You can use normal car resin polish on carbon parts, as long as it's lacquered. I do polish all the carbon parts with Autoglym Super Resin Polish, they worked well. Un-lacquered dry carbon can't be polished. Just clean it by water & neutral ph car shampoo will do.

Regarding the musk thing covering the carbon look, I think it has to do with the quality of the resin. Mine doesn't seemed to have that problem.

Ahhh.... lesson learned... but does anyone here know how to get rid of that white musk on those cars??? anyone??
