Focal Point takes this opportunity to wish all our Muslim customers Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and a Happy Deepavali to those from the Hindu faith.

Have a safe and pleasant drive outstation. Keep to the speed limits at all times.Check thoroughly vehicle before departing for trip. Make sure engine oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, ATF levels are sufficient. Good idea to bring some spare power steering fluid and water for radiator just in case. A spare halogen and brake lamp bulb may also be a good idea. Fan belts that are already 3 years old or more should be changed before making the trip. Engines that are quick to overheat should consider changing head gaskets if this is a problem.Battery condition should also be inspected.Oil and fuel filters should be in still relatively good condition.

Most important of all, to constantly keep an eye on dashboard lights for trouble codes.Do not brush aside these fault lights that appear on dashboard. Should the car suddenly stall, be calm and think for some time, it may be wise to telephone your mechanic.

Cheers and thanks for all the support.
