aku nak tanya berapa harga halfcut skrg?
ari 2 aku ada jumpa kat halcut tmn bolton dia nak rm6500.
mmg masih tak turun2 lg ke halcut dia?
tp member aku kata drp ambik halcut 210 baik pakai wayering evo 3 kos nya hanya rm2500.
dah ramai dah member dia buat cam 2.
tlg bg nasihat sikit boleh tak?
 
itu bukan dr h/cut .. itu dah 'rojak', from engine 'lantai' kawin dgn wiring evo3 .. yup, it's true ada org dah buat .. result, superb .. they said evo3 ecu can be 'hack' to adjust the setting, that's why nowadays most of the b8 enthusiast serach for evo3 wiring & ecu ..
 
jin you dunno mitsu and mazda wiring similar one ah? my ford lynx using cap mitsu comp box one mar.
 
rojak EVO wiring and ECU to B8 ???
Never heard of it before...
How much modification needs to be done to the sockets ???
What other parts do we need ???
 
xplain a little bit can arr bro's.. what kind of b8 engine do we use to make this modification..? the 180 or the 210..?

can have a problem arr.?

better for everyday use car car or street use car.?

can u confirm on the reliability? if 'rojak' i bet u if would not be a daily driver...

imagine hacking the ori mazda wiring loom to an evo3 wiring loom...wow...think again pity the mazda engineers guys...

my advise potentialise ur b8 guys...there is so much to for the b8 to be toy'ed and played with...
 
from my opinion, if this b8 already 'rojak' with e3 wiring .. for sure not for daily driving, for drag maybe ... i've seen one, but i'm not sure what kind of modification been made .. from what i know it's b8 wiring 'rojak' with e3

welcome.1st of all, english language pls.scared that u kena sound dgn webadmin later.
ok...the 210 halfcut price is unlikely to go down. the cheapest i've heard is rm4.5k w/o any bodyparts. once i've chat with kota bharu frens, they found out that one 210 halfcut sold at rm2.8k if i'm not mistaken, at lanchang pahang...the chop shop actually doesn't know that there is 2 types of B8 exist in market.:baring_teeth:

2nd....if u were to buy the evo wirings, where are u planning to swap it? u still need to buy the engine & the gb.

and yes, i've heard of it but i also heard that to rojak takes about rm4k including the labour+the purchase of the wirings. the reliability...i dont know. depending on different people different perception, if thik its worth it, then try it. later tell us about it.

I totally agree wid iman, reliabilty will be compromised for the everyday
ride, it would be fine if it was just used for a specific application....
but hell... having no rev cut and fuel cut would be fun for awhile...
till something very very wrong will happen..... eventually
but for the amount of cash ure paying for a rojak wiring, it would be more cost effective just to use a full stand alone (2nd hand of coz la) with the proper tuner... instead of using a rojak one for 6 months later to find
you`ve blown a flap in the cylinder block or cracked the pistons and
bent the conrods...


Some pple seem to think the mazda engineers developed thier harness looms in a cave...think again, they spent alot of time,effort and money to develop it
altho keeping things restricted for reliability and economy and cost.

guys,just curious, b8 is using flap type airflow sensor and evo is using karman type, both dont give same signal... i wonder how the " malaysia boleh" spirit can do it..please explain to us, share it out plaese, it may help those who want to make b8 monster...
 
look... you're going to spend all the money and effort to mod an Evo3 wiring loom to work with a B8 engine. Why? Because you want to get rid of all the rev cut fuel cut macam macam cut.

Cuts and limiters are designed to prevent careless owners from blowing up their engines every time. Wanna simply remove the cut can, but ur engine will probably blow like what Nij said.

Might as well just spend Rm2k to buy a piggyback ECU with good dyno tuning also can achieve the same result. And it's safe. Come on people, we have to quit this junkyard wars style of car modding.
 
First time i heard B8 kahwin with Evo3. damn outstanding weii!! malaysia BOLEH!!!!:confused_smile: :confused_smile:
but seriously, don't waste your money on that, just spend around Rm2k to buy a piggyback ECU with good dyno tuning..as listen all the sifu sifu advise here~
