my car is an ek2 1.3 the previous owner changed to 1.6 then i change the engine to 1.8. the runner price is around rm1k-1.3k. the price is like that one. so rm1.1k for 1.3 to 1.8 is quite normal. don think got any problem with that price cause i know the runner very well. anyway, inside the jpj letter is written "KHAS: MELEBIHI 25% KAPASITI ASAL" so considered legal by jpj under special case.

My mechanic also mentioned about the KHAS: MELEBIHI 25% KAPASITI ASAL.
So he said should be okay.
