Brisk by name, brisk by nature is all the introduction you need for this one-off Skoda Fabia.

The RS01 WRC packs a breathed-on version of the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine found in the Octavia vRS.

When the engine hits its peak of 494bhp at 7,800rpm, the RS01 hits 62mph from rest in 2.7 seconds.

The car has been built by Czech spark-plug manufacturer Brisk (geddit?), which fancied doing something a bit different to promote its wares.

The company has not just lopped off the rear of the roof for the coupe lines, it has fitted the RS01 out to full WRC spec and says it will use the car on a few selected rallies.

Underneath the body lies the four-wheel-drive system from a factory Fabia WRC machine, while rally guru Prodrive has been called in to help with final fettling.

Hitting 100km/h faster than an Enzo (3.2secs) will make all Enzo buyers mad!
