Anybody can tell me what is the advantage of using 2 way LSD for rx7?(or any disadvanate?)
What is the stock fd set up? 1 way or 1.5 way?

Thank.

2 way LSD provides full lock for acceleration and deceleration. on dry, it gives u almost perfect transfer of powers to both wheels. even during corners, both wheels are locked. so... this gives u the less tendency to skid during corners on dry lands...

disadvantage is during rain.... totally can't drive... joewe knows the experience of driving full lock 2 way LSD on the track during rain.... he was behind me, took the corner same speed.. which is medium speed... i got through the corner.. but he skidded..... he has old tyres.. might be another reason.. but generally, 2 way LSD is very easy to skid on wet and also on dry if the car is powerful....

i'm pretty dizzy now.. i might be wrong... let's wait for another oppinion.

Alchemis....thank for sharing.
Does it mean 'Skill' is very important for those think of 2 way LSd?

there we go... explanation of LSD.... generally give good traction...
wet roads... good luck... a car that can do alot of doughnut.... is confirm to be slippery on wet :) a car that does not do doughnut.. is safe on wet :P

just my 2 cents idea. :)

i am always lurking online just silently absorbing all the info

If u use 2 way LSD u need good skills to handle the car. Eg. use clutch and give more on acceleration

mostly those D1 drivers are proffessional right? they always use 2 way LSD to drift and also in many races... Touge battle, JGTC, sprint race and more... this is all i know... correct me if i am wrong

yes... professionals like 2 way...... i think other than 2 way.. they have all those electronics gadgets for newer cars.... some are electronically controlled etc...
too wide for research. but back to basics... 2 way are not easy to drive. :)

hmm.... need a lot of training... indeed very hard.... FR cars are hard to handle...

FR cars are not hard to handle... but 2 way FR cars are hard to handle.

is it? but to me... i think mostly FR cars are hard to handle.... that is why a VAN also can drift
