Went to kakimotor this evening where the origin of my HWL Adjustable (GTi 1.8). I asked for price quotation for adjustable absorbers service due to leakage, and they charge me (warranty finished) RM105 for piece. Plus postage RM35. They will send it to Top Perfect Sdn Bhd in Sg Buloh. If I were to go there by myself I'd save on postage fee + no need of looking for temporary absorber replacement.

Now, may I know is the price quoted reasonable or not ? I will be charged RM420 for all my adjustables serviced which is not so cheap. I wonder if theres any shop or person which provide good + reasonable price service for adjustables around Klang Valley ? Im staying in Cheras btw. If theres no other option I might just send it directly to Sg Buloh for service. Thanks in advance anyway =)

I think that's the normal price...the one in Sg Buloh is quite reliable IMO..
should u find a cheaper one, it might just compromise the workmanship..... good luck..

No necessity to do so, but I guess it's best practice to keep things in good shape  Unless it's leaking, I guess it's not a real necessity.
I'm using a set of custom serviceables & so far, it's been behaving  If it gets a little too soggy or stiff, I would get it serviced @ my pal's place. He'll charge about RM120++/pcs, but I guess you have to pay permium prices for premium jobs, huh

not necessary, you only need to replace your seal if it's leaking terribly. some times it's onli a little sand which stuck in between your seal and shaft which cause it to leak, cleaning it will be sufficient. and remember to refill back the nitrogen gas for it to work propely.
