I've been using camera detector device in my car. Half-cut item. Yes this device function. Most of survilliance camera along roadside can be detected.
Sometimes its really annoying coz it beep too many times. But when approaching the police speed trap camera, it did not beep.
I guest it maybe only detect wireless camera or maybe the speed trap camera is more canggih than my speed trap detector.

BTW, AES camera didnt use radar. It has speed sensor buried inside the road just like sensor at traffic light. The AES sensor is just 1-2 meter before the camera.

dont forget, AES has 3 types.
1. fixed/static type with sensor (speed camera and traffic light camera)
2. stand alone portable unit (kinda like gun type but on tripod)
3. vehicle mounted mobile unit (inside car)

so as for the fixed type, u can see the camera and the sensor buried under the road.
but for no.2 and 3?

If you mean the radar detector, maybe the cameras used by the police using different band width, because got a few bands......

Some motorist believed that using CD to reflect the scan can make the number plate blurr on the photo...

They put CD on their windscreen and some cut small pieces to stick on the number plates....

Do you think these CD will make the photo blurr and number plate cannot be read?

Anyone got any idea on this?

One by soon to be SPAD....

All three took one photo each...

Will it be considered as ONE offence or THREE offences?

Can anyone reason it out whether we should pay or not to pay at all?:damnmate::damnmate::damnmate:

Probably only one camera will be there. The others seeing that place is taken will move to other places....my 2 sens
If really have 3 cameras then is only one offense.....

i dont think there will be 3 cameras by 3 different agencies at one location..
but even with one camera, if u are caught doing multiple offences, then u get multiple summonses la.
example like the picture they took have u going more than the speed limit, u are not wearing seatbelt and u are on the phone.
so are doing 3 offences...

I see the guy sits there every morning with his camera, even though there are already 2 AES cameras there....
