Any recommendation..for transplant my 4G15 at > 4G91 or 6A10..?
With good workmanship.. ex: wiring.. ++

Understand from my workshop..but at Penang area.
However, complete everything will cost u around RM4800.


Is this plus trade in..? Mine wira 4G15 at
Or just complete halfcut(engine + dashboard + bodypart) + installation(timing belt ++ etc.) + workmanship..?

Watsup iz?! I'm the one that unker Fred mention,Sheffield...But i'm using my other name...Hehehe....

So,about 6a10...I'm using 6a10 (M/T) almost 2 years edi in my Satria...But tis engine cause me no problem...Hmm...Spare parts yes b'cos u have to use Perdana V6 parts like water pump,alternator,gasket kits,timing belt and all kinda belt....Water pump cost just rm100-rm150 (tengok brand),timing belt rm300 include tensioner bearing and oil seals (MMC),spark plugs RM100 (u can use 1.6/1.8 spark plugs,but u have to buy 8 plugs) and labour RM150 (all) total rm700.....Heavy? Of course b'cos it got 6 piston,4 camshaft,4 campulley and big crank summore its a 1.6ltr engine,but tis engine is a short-stroke engine...See the specs (bore x stroke)....


6a10 just use 4ltr of engine oil,tat mean one bottle "habis" if use 10/40w...Oil filter u can use 1.6/1.8 filter (small) of course....Workshop near my house just take rm5-rm10 (depends on his mood) for changing engine oil but u have to wait 30min - 1 hour nak bagi engine sejuk....B'cos the oil filter located near the downpipe...Selalunya i just do it myself...Bila dah sampai malas je baru hantar workshop.....Hehehehe....



H/C price (without bodyparts) cost me around rm3500 + rm1000 labour + rm300 parts - rm300 trade-in old engine 1.3 injection and all cost me RM4500....My mech M.I.A edi,dunno where he go,his in Meru Selangor,i tried to contact him but no answer....:sleep:


On aftermarket parts u can use 6a12 or Perdana V6 3-2-1 extractor (need a little mod),4g9ners adjustable campulley,but have to use 4 pulleys (arospeed je sudey),4g9ner lightweight pulley and u can use 1.3ltr Proton 73mm high compression piston (same as 6a10 piston)...On rojak-ing but still maintaining the 1.6 block,can use 6a12 mivec head with the wiring and 6a12 twin turbo kits or make it single turbo...Nak lagi jahat,use 2.0 block then punch 6a10 engine number back...Settle!! Hehehehe....:evil:

Hmm...So,i dunno wat to say b'cos its your call to use wat engine...Hmm....Almost forgot,fuel consumption or f/c is not tat bad...Rm20 can go about 120km-150km depends on driving....Full tank....Never tried it before....:biggrin:...But i like highway crusinin' wit tis engine,very2 the sedap!!

better modified GSR 1.8 turbo..if u tink the speed not satisfy4u..u cn try2chg mivec cylindsr head..u ll feel d fun

cost varies from state to state.once u bought the front clip,the whole
thing can be install to ur car incl the b.part(if u like the look of a lancer).

If u are look for good pick up, remain ur 1.3 cable gearbox ( Final = 4.322 ). This because 4G91 ori gearbox is set up for economy crusing ( Final drive = 4.021 ). :biggrin:

As far as i know if you're planning to transplant your 4G13 to 4G91.. Just take complete halfcut.. then change the whole thing...

Thx for the suggestion bros...but is still want to maintain the look of a wira..i juz want the engine, gearbox, dashboard and suspension...a halfcut has lots of extra stuff that i dun need...
