planning to transplant 4g91 into my saga....can sifus here let me know wats d price for the manual 4g91 incl fuel tank and rear discbrake....any good workshop to recomend???

a fren is offering some kinda custom cams... bt not sure of quality... bt seem him using in drag racing though... bt afraid it will b a waste since my car is auto... price will be around rm500 also.... he say special offer 4 me but not sure lar..

I'm not really sure the function of power n eco button exactly (even thou was driving auto 4G91 for like 3 years.. hahaha), but if not mistaken the power mode will hold gear longer than in eco thus giving better performance.. so the effect is on the gears engagement..

From my understanding (since i'm not using AFPR yet),The AFPR however is effecting fueling, u c our EFI engine feeds fuel into the intake thru effect of injector pulse that is controled by ECU.. in stock it is running at certain preset pressure, so if u can adjust the pressure, u can adjust the amount of fuel injected per injector pulse. more fuel = more power, less fuel = more eco.. hahaha.. maybe other guys can comment on it..

With Rm 500 and assuming u have done exhaust and intake, i would suggest doing alluminium crank pulley and AFPR loh.. should be good kua..

If u r saying ur fren using it for drag, hmmm, not sure useful for u oh, it is most likely a high cam, a no no for auto.. unless if u can live with higher fuel consumption and super sluggish low end power lah.. hahaha..

bro brandmzw the price ok laa for 4g91.. but i think u can get it around 3.2k also .. but must do more survey .. bout the inspection maybe have a lil prob because u need to change mounting to insert 4g91 in iswara body.. my advise u can go for 4g61(T) halfcut around 3.2k onli .. 4G61(T) is mirage 1.6 with original turbo engine .. plug and play with iswara body .. 4g91 can plug and play with wira or satria.. FC still ok laa if u not modt..:regular_smile:

U also transplant 4G91 into iswara body? How long already? How is the dashboard? Did u replace the iswara dashboard with the h/cut one? Got digital aircon right? Mind to share some pics? My location is KK, Sabah.

correc.. bro because got a lot of iswara & saga been charge by 4g91 .. use runner service lor .. easyier.. hahaha.. but i advise the easy way .. 4g61T surely can tapau me all the way .. u buat pemilihan .. once u change engine u cannot turn back to others engine.. if ure damn rich lain cerita laa ..:shades_smile:

IMHO.. its not worth getting this engine at dat price... for iswara summo.. cos u cant use half of the thgs in it.. better add alil more n go 4G93 lar... much better n more powerful... cost less then 4K for halfcut...

4G93 is 1.8 right? My target is 1.5cc or 1.6cc only. roadtax cheap mah.

my opinion wud stil be 93.. as u already mention dat u r a student n very particular abt FC n paying 4 rd tax:X-: ... its true u can fit 63 stuff on a 61..but trust me, add a 2liter stuff on a stock 1.6 is nt gonna do u any gud lar... unless u put in the 2liter block lar... but then it wud affect yr rd tax again... summo u r in KK... if a 61T can cost u 5K! think how much wud 63 stuff be.... so brader better u 'tepuk dompet n tanya selera'... u wud knw wat suits u best... choice is yrs...:regular_smile:

My Iswara powered by 4G91 since 2003. No I didn't buy halfcut. I buy engine + gearbox only. Mine is carb version.

hello all,

I've been reading this forum quite some time ago. I want to transplant my wira with 4G91 Auto. I have done some survey and the best price i get is RM3800. Package includes engine & auto transmission, dashboard, digital aircond, lower arm, drive shaft, timing belt, new wiring, absorber, front disc brake and installation cost. However the workshop owner wants to take my engine & gearbox. Something like trade in.

Is that price ok for me... need your advice urgently bcoz my gearbox going to kong now. Bearing starts sound noise. Engine also got leaking and sound rough.
