new tyre in front or rear?

I'm curious.

I did some search and it seems there's a mix of information.

In the western, they are putting the new tyres at rear.
Reason being is they believe new tyres on the rear axle help the driver more easily...

Altezza Splitters/ lips

but the car i am bein offered doesnt have the optional front and rear lips that i think are trd and i think they make the car...
