4afe with myvi/kancil oil filter...

i'm wondering if kancil/myvi oil filter can be use into 4afe engine or not. i've measure the diameter and opener size is same both of the filter...
thus, kancil/myvi oil filter oem is made from UMW.

toyota oil filter only cost around RM15...
kancil is around RM8....just save RM7 only...

the question is, why u wanna use kancil oil filter?
for saving rm7 or u want to try something new?

if for budget reason, its up to u. For technical reason, pls explain more specific the pro's & con's.

Unless you could cut up the oil filter and compare, it would be good knowledge if you are stuck somewhere without an original part.
