"at RM185/month"

I'm sure TMNet will have this plan someday.

Go! TMNET Go!

I'm in Spore running on Starhub cable modem.

:::.. Download Stats ..:::
Connection is:: 1520 Kbps about 1.5 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 186 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Test Time:: Sun Apr 10 15:33:08 UTC+0800 2005
Bottom Line:: 27X faster than 56K 1MB download in 5.51 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 62.57 % faster than the average for host (com.sg)

Starhub in SG is having 6.5Mb for less than S$80 a month. They have been promoting it for a while already.

Yeaps, i'm running on the 6.5mb but its not really exactly 6.5mb download speed. The most i have reach was 1.2mb persecond and basically i don't think there is any website out there that would let u download stuff at 6.5mb.

6.5mb is megabit not megabyte per second.

so its actually 812KBps and thats already fast

mine:

:::.. Download Stats ..:::

Download Speed is:: 50 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/

Your connection is: 670 Kbps (about 0.7 Mbps)
You downloaded at: 82 kB/s
Your TRuSPEED: ^info^ 717 Kbps :: 88 kB/s (7% overhead factored)
Bottom Line: You are running: 12 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 12.49 second(s)

yeap...

1024 B = 1 KB
1024 KB = 1 MB
1024 MB = 1 GB
1024 GB = 1 TB

1B(Byte) = 8b(bits)
therefore
1024Kbps(kilobits per second) = 128KBps(kilobytes per second)
