Are u really sure the fault lies on the ecu ? Problem starting the vehicle may be caused by many minor faults battery , afm, spark plugs , coil , old petrol , condensor unit, and yes lose wiring , etc but I would put the ecu at the last of the trouble list unless you splash the ecu with water.
