Hi Guys,

I just imported an Accord Euro R CL7. This one came straight from Japan. Its a great car and i love it.

The first thing I noticed when launching the car it produces alot of wheel hopping. Is this a common problem with this the CL7's? Does anyone know a work around?

Wheel hopping? maybe your car too powerful, hehehehe

Normally on stock clutch, wheel hopping will not happened. I suspect your unit came with aftermarket clutch or some other extra parts..Better get reliable mechanic to check.

Thanks Aja.
I have the car booked to get a service check at Honda this week.
It did come with a set of Rays G-Games Sidewinder wheels which appear to be light weight so maybe that could be contributing to the issue?

The wheel hopping happens when loses traction on 1st gear and when changing from 1st to 2nd instead of the wheels spinning they hop.

Yeap. I'm from Sect9 also but don't really noticed a blue CL7 here except for one dark blue color of similar with extra bodyparts which belonged to our friend at Sect. 2

I'm seldom drive my car except for weekend or hang-out for TT. Most of the time it just sleep at home...

Another guy with Kelantan plate dark grey color CL7 stay at Sect 6.

Wheel hop? you mean when you let the clutch go, the whole car shakes? same as mine. LSD gigit ka? because no wheelspin at all, just hop hoip hop

Thank you bro.

The wheels do spin out not smoothly/continuously but kind of intermittently.
This happens when the front wheels lose traction. i.e. accelerating fast from zero in wet conditions when the car is stationary.
If i put my foot down on the accelerator the whole front shakes violently while the wheels spin out.

I took the car to honda for a full service check. Everything seemed ok but this turns out to be a common issue with most powerful front wheel drive vehicles. There is no real way to fix it but allot of people that fit racing suspensions have suggested this helps reduce the shake during take offs.

Yellow spoon is nice but the yellow abit too heavy, for yellow i still think the BMW E36 M3 Dakar Yellow is the best!
