We had another encounters last Sunday, after close to 11 hours correction on the E90 , I could hardly lift up both my arms & shoulder, as it is as stiff as a concrete……but detailing who can resist….

Instead of FLEE-ing …I flew to the crime scene….. one of which my buddy who got a new rotary & he started correcting his wife 16 years old oxidized car paint……the car is so oxidized that the owner...refuses to wash...but the loving hubby does all detailing, and it is out of his love for his wife, he bought himself a rotary & starting correcting...pain work

Let me share with you more…if you would please

Remember how lighting plays a big part in Car Detailing , as most cars defect only been seen from a strong lighting, what professional detailer want is to imitate Sun light but without the heat, as you need a cooling surface to work your compound & polishes.

From a distance the world looks blue and green,
and the snow-capped mountains white.
From a distance the ocean meets the stream,
and the eagle takes to flight.

My apologies...for not making a straight forward post....as it was written more to the general public...which most of us ...think , believe percieved the opposite of what car detailer does

1.most believe their ride should be scrub in order to wash..cheap rm 8 per wash & vaccum ....good & cheap foriegn laborer..out of which hard scrub & wrong technique & product too......free swirls as door gift...complussary item

2. most detailing shop does not have proper lighting...and each time they brag about ...how good glossy & shinny their work...butnever was shot close up. when it compared both lighting side by side.....lighting is consider optional item...can be strikes off the list too

3. almost all the car that was detail...some how ended up hologram....as free decorative gifts...

nevertheless..i owe my sincere thanks to all who read thru my post

Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement too

Cheers buddies

I've seen a few of KC's threads, and every time I'm amazed at his work.

On top of beautiful correction, this thread could be a tutorial on the importance of proper lighting. I fell out of my chair when I saw the *true* condition of the original paint. As a mere enthusiast, lighting has admittedly been lowest on my list of priorities. But after seeing this thread I'm seriously considering seeking out those halogens I see everyone using.

shit man, how da hell u did that? i really need to bring my car to u bro.....
my paint is exactly like that blue charade.

same with me.. my bonnet looks like the charade previous condition.. If really can do this I should considering this instead of going to paint the whole car..

The holograms can be caused by a few things. Using a very aggressive pad/polish, not working the polish until it breaks down completely and ...
