vtec had the most in category, this time seeing some old face returning to the sport. t.teo who emerged as champion in miri also return with a different setting but still same body. one eg6 with k24 type r engine enters class vtec and turbo. the talk of town was a red 4 throttle vtec ef.
in group C, STY presented a mirage with twin dcoe 45mm webber, a full drag car, one haltech AE92 and others as well.
there will also be race queens to grace the event, and ticket is priced at rm5. pit pass is rm20 all season.so for those who purchase the pass can have more time to look at the machine,compared to open pit method where people flock the pit and cause trouble to racers,such as putting their hands on machine and pickpocket
the scrutinneering will be done on saturday 22 at central road..the four junction traffic light where there is a big sarawak drag battle banner.
during the race day at 23 may,a free practice session will be conducted to get the racers familiarize with the track and christmas tree.run all you want. qualifying will start after the session ends.
