1. Nearly all the tuning houses (hahah sounds power) in and around Sunway can tune your PowerFC such as GT Auto, Links, Millenium, N1, ST Wangan.

2. From scratch or fine tune? Can range from RM700 to RM5000

3. Depends really, can be a couple of hours or up to 6-8 hours according to some tuners

As for the question of who is the best tuner? Well, who is the better artist - Michaelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci or Picasso? :wavey:

M Nasir!!!

Yourself...once you understand what tuning is about. Get the Datalogit and learn a whole new experiences of knowing your car better. Better you blow ur engine then some "other" tuner who claims he can do this & that but you must ugrade this & that. Just my two cents....

i've got a question. If you give 2 tuners the same car to tune, and you tell them that you want them to extract as many hp that they can within the safety limit, will the car come out different?

Is the delta between the 2 big?

Furthermore, what is the difference between a Jap tuner and a local tuner? Knowledge? If so, what are we lacking?

i only want to fine tune it, dont want push to hard.now my car like to laggy,

Vspec: Do share with us how did the tune go if ur trying GT Auto. Cost, duration and service of the tuner. This way everyone will know which tuner is better. Cheers

every tuner has their own philosophy

but geographically speaking, jap tuners tune a bit rich

malaysian tuners.. some really know their stuff... but you have to be on the same frequency as your tuner, so talk to all of them first and as them about tuning your car, and see which guy has the same idea of how your car should drive and which guy you are most comfortable with

of course jap tuners are rich, they are paid more and earn yen :rofl::rofl:

just joking...

i heard japanese petrol is higher octane so tuning will be different.

IMHO, tuning is one of THE MOST important bits - just imagine, if you already spent 30-40k on the parts, if tuning goes wrong... kaboom... burn everything

St Wangan have a residence tuner from Jp and he might be your best bet...if not mistaken, they are charging around RM2,000 to RM2,500 per car.

cost me almost 3K (import them from sg + 6 hrs dyno rent) complete. but FCON Vpro la...

Just some random information, Mr. Jun Furukawa who was previously based in A'PEXi, A.P Engineering and participation in development of the Apexi Power FC, will be coming over to ST Wangan end of this month. Apparently he has many years of tuning experience in Japan tuning race cars and is an expert in ECU tuning.

I believe its a bit more than that

Is it? They quoted me that price when I ask them, but for tuning V Pro is more expensive and if still remember correctly is RM3,200.00
