My 98 Spec Honda Integra Type R Sedan

Yeah they are a few 4 door 96 spec ITR in silver as well up here in akl. I think there's about 10 of them but they're not commonly seen. For those ones, honda actually introduced them with the black wheels instead of the white ones while 98 spec silver ones got dark grey.

98 spec is rare and it looks like it will be as import regulations are changing at the end of this year. You're only allowed to import cars from 2000 and above and they're not many yr 2000 silver ones. Most are white or black :(

Will start a build thread up for my car in december 07 and jan 08 so stay tune. Won't say anymore bout the car until then :mouth_closed:

Nice ride, and the lack of stickers usually means that you're a privateer.. unlike over here, where sticker/vinyl mods are usually a little over the top.. :P

Hey stickers are for kids. Real men dont need stickers unless it's a track car! The only sticker i got is my Integra Type R stickers, My small tiny apple stickers on the rear window and the low volume sticker. Hahaha

Well after a few months of silence from me, thought i'd keep you guys posted on the car. I'm installing full adjustable suspension system from buddyclub soon and some adjustable camber arms from D2 or something.

Reason, im not utilizing the full 200hp as told by my friend who has build over 25 hondas! I'm delaying the power fc as i think i might be short on cash but i'll also be puttin in a full 2.5" stainless steel exhaust with no resonators but an EFC to avoid cops and a set of pro1 stainless 4
I've also had the rear calipers rebuild as the piston was jammed so i had about 30% engagement when i am driving around and when i was racing my car on the quarter mile. That has being fixed and i have also dropped in some Lucas Racing Brake pads for the rear. Was going to drop mugen one in but thought i only really need them for the front.

I've also purchased a pair of Blox Racing magnetic sump plug for my engine oil sump and one more for the gearbox. Might as well get those to lengthen the engine life :P

As for interior wise, i finally got round to getting a fire extinguisher just in case a fire breaks out on the track :) Anywayz, here are the pics. Enjoy!

As for an update for the car, i have parts lying around for the car at the moment except for suspension. We will be installing parts soon so watch this space.

I also managed to take the car out on a track outing in Pukekohe raceway on 19th September. This is one of the sessions. PART 1 and PART 2. Hope you guys like the clip. Plz post feedback

FYI, the car still has only got the spoon filter :P so not that fast :P

Was racing that blue STi type R that was owned by gary. He never caught up or came close. We sorta left him behind.... Then ended up racing my frenz EK hatch with a K20A

Got a new plate for my car. Since the model is an E-DB8 and EDB8 is already taken, i needed to settle for EDB88 but i must say, my mate paid $600 for his EDB8 plate i only paid NZ$15 :P

JFD, i heel toed everywhere. u cant see it because we couldnt film my foot work. LoL. Now i need to get new fluids for my brakes and my transmission as well as a new clutch :(

Indeed id take the K20aR anyday, its just that the price of the engine over here in MY is as awesome as the engine itself. RM25k+ for the dc5 halfcut
