i have seen vtec b18c+ b20b with done up internals and emanage with big turbo boosting at 0.7bar pushing out 420hp on wheels and has wacked many many powerful cars including evo sr20 and event mazdas.....vtec turbo are just mental if u get the right setting

i nampak live dengan asap putih keluar ejoz turbo dah kong semua masih lagi boleh tinggal evo bang
 
kalo ada vtec nak main ngan evo jadi-jadian, kabo la bang, ada member gatal nak test gak ni...bukan nak kata kete dia ni power, cuma cari kawan2 sambil2 nak rapatkan silaturahim. asyik peminat vtec gaduh ngan evo je....

haha.....tis one cannot that one cannot... so how? bored ar...talking about vtec.....tawau drag strip (not good condition road) fastest vtec clocked 12.79sec....fast ek.... every rpm more than 10k rpm,shift and redline till 5th gear when finishing the run...launch control somemore...hmmm.......
 
but that was on a super lightened crx without any rear hatch door or any glasses... only plastic films like those balut buku paper to stick together with binding tape to cover the hatch and perspects for the windows...mostly i see (hardware) are toda's item here and there when i see them changing parts b4 the test run....

well not that its not a fast car after setup.... but if talking about a souped up on street use vtec, nothing much to boast about what car it can smoke...
im ex b16a user last year and i know how disadvantage it can be to challenge a turbo car. not to mention test power with evo somemore... a simple evo-wira(4wd) with a larger ar60 turbo setup clock low 12 or hi 11sec on 400m... thats consider real slow for 4wd.. but again its a street car....

it will be a never ending debate on who smokes who. i had smoked alot of cars and alot of cars had smoked me b4.. but in real 400m run,consistancy,reliability on the machine and race timing is what make someone have the right to brag as a champ. not just say and heboh about how fast car can go....
 
but when it is turbo.... alot of thing is hard to say..... but one thing to remember civic's block is alloy and it had limitation on the amount of boost it can take for a mild mod street car...

Congrats for you 2nd place for the 2 wheel open category in 2007 Tawau Drag recently. Cifu said you must upgrade ur 1JZ in a little more grands.

dare not upgrade anymore loo..... i guess my engine is nearing its limitation already.... maybe some minor adjustment on the exhaust cam pulley.
1.7bar on the first 3 runs already suffer from radiator hose burst and the car seems running in a suffer way on the top end side. i guess my gearing is maxing out.... going to try 4.1 final drive and M/T et street and see how it goes....im very sure my car will do low 12sec in a very reliable way at tawau drag strip as i didnt launch my car with any rev at all to clock 13.015sec. a good setup car with low'ish 400whp can definitely clock good time without sacrifying streetability,reliability and wear and tear

now its full of ICE again for normal town usage :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:
 
Just a thought for bringing up this topic back for discussion again. Im sure by now there s lotsa Vtec-T outhere, open for discussion once again....

joy, pain, relief, kena tapao, di tapao and others...
