if overboost, i more concern engine internals than gb.
Just got the ARP screws and metal gasket in. Already done planted in the engine. I’ve gotten myself a e-manage blue with all the harnesses from Japan. Condition is used 2 weeks and unplugged. Price rm600 cause member gave harga kasih sayang. God bless me

Just got myself a BC racing v1 for 2.2k, using control arms from halfcut and pumping the bush out replacing new ones, new michelin ps4 205/50/16 with kedai papan, and sport rim from kedai papan also. Chassis foaming have been done previously and ultra racing full set excluding rear room bar, mid room bar, and fender bar havent get.

Any other handling items i need to be aware of? My bc racing doesnt come with pillow ball. Would be using rubber mounting for now, good enough? Or should go pillow ball?
so far it sounds good enuf. adjustable pillowball will give you front camber tuning thus can add extra cornering traction. but so far it good now for street. give your car run first then start mod fro there. dont over mod your car just yet cause u cant feel that minor adjustment after modding.

Another monster about to be released........hhahahhahhaha
Release the kraken! Hahahaha!

Actually, would GSR turbo with autobox performance delivery in wira be considered comparable to similar 1.8 turbo auto cars (i.e. c250 w204, volks/golf 1.3-1.8 turbo)? I was informed by my foreman that due to wira lightweight chassis and gsr powerband, my wira would be a pocket rocket. I wonder, is it that quick or it’s just above average quick? What’s your opinion?

Thanks bro! Will do that! Like they say, take care of your car and the car would take care of you.

Couldnt agree more! Plan to run stock, and maybe mod a little once at a time from there. The journey is what’s important and what matters most. Anyway, too much power without handling or balance is not meaningful to drive on streets, imo. Would like to have a balance hahahaha

With auto box you will have torque loss compared to MT.....

Let me rephrase, power loss in the torque converter........lol
Agreed. Torque converter would consume much of the torque. Anyhow, quite sure I’ll be satisfied with the power delivery. The current autobox should strike a balance for daily drive and occasional spirited driving.

hahaha. torque wise, it's plentiful. but power wise at the top end, not much. need 5th gear. hahaha
Top speed wont be too much of a factor for me i guess. It’s unlikely that I can drive above 180 most of the time anyway. IMO, i dont think it’s considerably safe/ideal to drive above 180 at malaysia roads with a wira chassis c97 despite that upgrades such as (1) autofoam done, (2) complete chassis bars, (3) bc racing v1 threaded coilovers, (4) enkei tuning rims with ps4 rubber, (5) stiff rings, and (6) reviving all suspension bushings *this is some car handling upgrades I’ve done*

Drive gentle, be gentle. Engine old jor. I’m getting old too. A little excitement when wanted is good enough hahahah

LOL. My highway cruising speed is 140kmh. I think it mostly depends on the driver. :driver:

To me it all depends on the engine and chassis. We tend to find the 'sweet spot' where the engine felt effortless (most of the time in peak torque rpm range) and the noise is not bleeding our ears and the car is not all over the place.

However some just tend to mash the pedal regardless what vehicle they drive.

Owning my VR for like 19 years, I did until speed cut three times only. First time when engine newly transplanted, was wondering why car lost power.....lol Second time actual test going to airport customs and then on the way back, that time LCCT not open yet, that road not much people use. My ex colleague even gave me a speed cut defender which I did not install......hahhaha

my peak torque is at 4600rpm and my peak power is 6000 rpm (damn ridiculous for an autobox). so yeah, most of the time i will maintain driving at peak torque between 4000-4600 rpm. u always know where the sweet spot is when cruising.
