PTS Tyre Auto Service. But I got a 1 year old tyre instead. Forgot to ask on phone what year.

They say new one only coming in about 1 month later.
Ok thx, I'd try check them out later once my tires gone.
1 year old tires is still ok.

RM205 for 205/55/16. So the width is RM1 per width

Buy tyres from Klang indeed cheaper, I got a friend who has a friend with workshop there really price different a lot.

Can go Klang for makan makan when time to change tyre. Then worth it xD.

I google and it shows PTS in Setapak. Is that near Wangasa Maju area?

That depends on the tyres you want. I never bought from Klang because after factor the travel time, petrol, toll etc., and the price difference for me it is not worth. For some if the tyres cost is gid difference then it is worth the trip.
But remember of after sales too, like if balancing and alignment is not good, then going back there to get it re-done will be costly. If send to another shop nearby then got to pay again.
Some friends, what they do is buy the tyres and bring back to usual shop for fitting and alignment. But this has is cons too. What if the tyre is heavily out of balance, to make a claim have to travel to Klang again. However this is not too common a problem and for outright purchase can ask for further discount....:driver:

Smaller sizes may not differ too much. Some tyre shops in Shah Alam, Kota Kemuning also can get good prices nowadays. Not sure how good Rawang prices are nowadays.....:smokin:

Yeah, if for 17' branded tires can be cheaper by say rm50-100 per tire then might be worth it to go there.

Best call to ask price 1st before going bro. Unless very close to the boss then okay la haha!
Michelin I get from the manjalara shop usually. Cuz getting tyres from them is usually okay. But not major mods.

hung tat?? where was this tyre shop??? sounds like familiar....

but nevermind..in seremban got another shop for cheap tyre...at rahang there...
...but other service not sure good or not (even heard got case of selling damaged rims)

for better service and security in choosing tyre...better go modern tyre senawang (opposite jpj senawang there) the best tyre related services in seremban and tyre price also not that expensive...they do carry some cheaper tyre option too....

I had a strange experience at this Pusat Tayar Hung Tat few months back. I went to the shop for the first time but it was closed. There is a sign to call a dude named "Jimmy Chan". So, I called him up to tell him about some business arrangement that I am doing and enquire if he is interested. He said "ok.. nanti saya tengok dulu"..
A month or so after that, I happened to be in Seremban and just thought of dropping by the shop just to say hello. I was greeted by a slightly older man. I asked him if he is Jimmy. He said he is not and said Jimmy is away on business. Anyway, I talked to this older man telling him about the telephone conversation with Jimmy a month ago etc.. He said he will inform Jimmy that I dropped by.
The funny thing is.. I changed my phone to a better one with whatsapp / telegram / wechat etc few days after that.. And guess what.. the picture of Jimmy on the contact list is the same old dude that I spoke to at Hung Tat.
So, it is either I am so intimidating (yup a lone skinny slightly pot bellied middle aged dude can be intimidating too, you know) or someone loves putting up a picture of an old dude (instead of a pix of a son / daughter)... SAighhh...

Hi Guys,

New here. Feel free to call me newbie if you like.

Anyways, I just bought a CRX Del sol 1.5 SOHC. While I plan to upgrade to a B16a soon, first i want to take care of the stereo inside.

Most importantly, I don't want to clutter the boot with a Subwoofer. I want good headset for iPod connectivity and decent (dun't need to cha kei) sound.

Right now it has Nakamichi crossovers and JBL tweeters, but I'm thinking of selling them seperately and maybe getting a decent set of...
